Feb 2011 – Royal College of Physicians, Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine and University of Ulster awarded Department of Health Tender for E Learning Tool for creation of 35 training modules for professionals undertaking Membership of Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine entry examination and The Society of Apothecaries, Diploma in the Forensic and Clinical Aspects of Sexual Assault entry examination.
Feb 2005 – Rising Star HEA Award to pilot a new online postgraduate multi disciplinary programme for professions allied to medicine.

As PI, In total I have secured significant grant monies in relation to teaching and learning initiatives. The HEA award significantly enhanced opportunities for pedagogic research output. The DoH award will significantly enhance online training for a wide range of professionals eg general practitioners, forensic physicians, forensic nurses.
